MACWORLD CONFERENCE & EXPO APPLESCRIPT SESSION ANNOUNCED
AppleScripting the iApps

Phoenixville, Pennsylvania - September 24th, 2004 - An "AppleScripting the iApps" session will be held at Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco on Thursday, January 13th, 2005 from 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM. This session will feature Benjamin S. Waldie, President of Automated Workflows, LLC, and will be part of the User Conference track.
The iApps (iTunes, iPhoto, iCal, etc.) in Mac OS X, used and loved by Mac users everywhere, have provided us with a number of possibilities for working with music, photos, scheduling, and more. Many of us just can't live without these applications, but wouldn't it be great if we could modify the iApps even further in order to add our own features and options? With the use of AppleScript, we can! In this session, we will explore ways to add new features into the iApps with scripting, and discuss ways to quickly and easily trigger scripts from right within these applications. We will also look at various ways to use AppleScript to link multiple iApps together, allowing you to create your own iWorkflow! Any Mac user who uses any of the iApps on a regular basis should attend this session.
