MACWORLD CONFERENCE & EXPO APPLESCRIPT AND AUTOMATOR GATHERING ANNOUNCED
AppleScript and Automator Users Birds-of-a-Feather Meeting

Phoenixville, Pennsylvania - January 4th, 2007 - An "AppleScript and Automator Users" Birds-of-a-Feather Meeting will be held at the Macworld Conference and Expo in San Francisco on Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. The session will be moderated by Ben Waldie, president of Automated Workflows, LLC. Birds-of-a-Feather Meetings are informal discussion groups open to all conference and expo attendees.
With all of the recent excitement about Automator, Apple's newest automation technology, users everywhere are looking to become more efficient by automating time consuming and repetitive tasks on their Macs. In this session, we will explore ways to begin implementing such automation, as we discuss tools including Automator, AppleScript, and QuicKeys. Join Ben Waldie, AppleScript columnist for MacTech Magazine, X-Ray Magazine, and MacScripter.net, and author of the "Mac OS X Technology Guide to Automator" and "AppleScripting the Finder," for this informal Automator birds-of-a-feather gathering. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their questions, as well as their own tips, tricks, and techniques for Macintosh automation.
